Ingredients
  

  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 units eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 10 slices sandwich bread
  • 200 g mozzarella cheese sliced or shredded
  • 150 g shredded ham

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, add the milk, eggs, and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix well until everything is fully combined.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the milk and egg mixture.
  • Arrange the soaked bread slices in a baking dish close together.
  • Add slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the bread.
  • Spread the shredded ham over the cheese.
  • Dip more bread slices into the mixture and place them on top to create another layer.
  • Finish by adding more mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Remove from the oven, cut into pieces, and serve warm.

Notes

You can add tomatoes, oregano, or corn for extra flavor. You may also replace ham with shredded chicken or make it with cheese only.
