
Easy Banana Dessert
An affordable banana dessert with creamy layers and homemade caramel sauce. Easy to make, rich, and incredibly delicious.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5 bananas sliced
- 400 g sweetened condensed milk
- 5 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 box heavy cream
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add the sugar and cook until it starts to melt.
- Stir occasionally until a golden caramel forms.
- Slowly add the water while stirring until fully dissolved.
- Add the sliced bananas and cook for a few minutes.
- Turn off the heat and set aside the caramelized bananas.
- In another saucepan, mix the condensed milk with cornstarch until smooth.
- Add the heavy cream and milk and mix well.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Pour the cream into a dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the caramelized bananas and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.
Notes
Add the water slowly to the caramel to prevent it from hardening too quickly. Chill for the recommended time to achieve the perfect texture.
