1. Homemade Lemon, Ginger, Garlic, and Cinnamon Syrup

Great for persistent cough and scratchy throat.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 small piece of ginger (5–7 slices)
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon powdered)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of honey (optional, but helps A LOT)
  • 200 ml water

Preparation

  1. Boil the water with ginger and cinnamon for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the crushed garlic.
  3. Wait 5 minutes and add the lemon juice and honey.
  4. Strain and drink while still warm.

Directions

  • 2 to 3 times a day, especially before bed.

2. Strong Ginger Tea with Cinnamon and Lemon (No Garlic)

Recommended for dry cough, flu, and congestion.

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of ginger (6 slices)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Honey to taste
  • 250 ml water

Preparation

  1. Boil the ginger and cinnamon for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, add the lemon, and sweeten with honey.
  3. Drink hot.

3. Warm Water with Lemon, Garlic, and Honey

Antiseptic — great for those with a lot of mucus.

Ingredients

  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 150 ml warm water (not hot)

Preparation

  1. Mix everything in the warm water.
  2. Let it rest for 5 minutes and drink.

Tip: Raw garlic acts as a stronger natural antibacterial.


4. Morning “Shot” for Cough, Immunity, and Throat

Concentrated and very effective.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 1/2 grated garlic clove
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Preparation

Mix everything and drink all at once in the morning.
