Ingredients
  

  • 700 g ground beef
  • 1 unit grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • oil for frying
  • cooked pasta, tender

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with grated onion, salt, black pepper, oregano, red pepper flakes, turmeric, breadcrumbs, and olive oil until fully combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs of your preferred size.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides, turning carefully with forks.
  • Add tomato paste, salt, dried parsley, red pepper flakes, paprika, turmeric, dried basil, and sugar. Mix well to coat the meatballs.
  • Pour in water and tomato sauce. Stir, cover the pan, and let simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and serve the meatballs over freshly cooked pasta.
