Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • pre-cooked potatoes
  • fresh herbs to taste

Instructions
 

  • Make cuts in the chicken thighs to help the seasoning penetrate.
  • Season the chicken with paprika, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, mixing well.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter and brown the chicken on all sides.
  • Add the onions and chopped garlic and sauté until golden.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing tomato sauce, water, salt, black pepper, and dried parsley.
  • Add the pre-cooked potatoes to the skillet and mix with the chicken.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and potatoes.
  • Cover and cook for about 10 minutes until everything is fully cooked.
  • Finish with fresh herbs to taste.
  • Serve hot with the chicken and golden potatoes.

Notes

You can lightly pre-cook the potatoes to speed up the process. Using butter together with olive oil adds extra flavor to the chicken.
