Ingredients
  

  • 1 can tuna drained
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • green onions and parsley to taste
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • oil for greasing the skillet

Instructions
 

  • Drain the tuna well, removing all excess oil, and lightly mash it.
  • In a bowl, add the eggs, salt, black pepper, and oregano, and mix well.
  • Add the chopped tomato, onion, green onions, and parsley, and mix again.
  • Add the cornstarch and mix thoroughly until fully dissolved.
  • Add the drained tuna and mix everything until well combined.
  • Grease a skillet with a little oil and pour in the mixture, spreading evenly.
  • Cook on low heat with the lid on until the bottom is golden.
  • Flip the cake carefully using a plate.
  • Cook the other side on low heat until fully golden.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve.

Notes

Keep the heat low to ensure the cake cooks through evenly. You can add cheese or extra vegetables to customize the recipe.
