
Skillet Tuna Cake with Cornstarch
A delicious and quick tuna cake made in a skillet with simple ingredients. Soft on the inside and lightly golden on the outside, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients
- 1 can tuna drained
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- green onions and parsley to taste
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- oil for greasing the skillet
Instructions
- Drain the tuna well, removing all excess oil, and lightly mash it.
- In a bowl, add the eggs, salt, black pepper, and oregano, and mix well.
- Add the chopped tomato, onion, green onions, and parsley, and mix again.
- Add the cornstarch and mix thoroughly until fully dissolved.
- Add the drained tuna and mix everything until well combined.
- Grease a skillet with a little oil and pour in the mixture, spreading evenly.
- Cook on low heat with the lid on until the bottom is golden.
- Flip the cake carefully using a plate.
- Cook the other side on low heat until fully golden.
- Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve.
Notes
Keep the heat low to ensure the cake cooks through evenly. You can add cheese or extra vegetables to customize the recipe.
