Ingredientes
  

  • 500 g potatoes cut into cubes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 80 g cornstarch
  • mozzarella cheese to taste for filling
  • oil as needed for frying

Modo de preparo
 

  • Cut the potatoes into cubes to help them cook faster.
  • Place the potatoes in a pot, cover with hot water and cook until fully tender.
  • Drain the cooked potatoes, transfer them to a bowl and add the salt.
  • Mash the potatoes well using a potato masher or a fork until smooth.
  • Add the cornstarch and mix well. Then knead with your hands until a smooth dough forms.
  • Take portions of the dough, shape into balls, flatten them, place mozzarella in the center and close the dough to form a patty.
  • Heat a frying pan with a little oil and place the patties to cook.
  • Once golden on one side, flip and cook until golden on the other side. Remove and serve.

Notas
