This baked ground beef with mayonnaise cream is a practical, budget-friendly and very flavorful recipe for lunch or dinner. The beef is mixed with bread softened in milk, grated onion, eggs, salt and pepper, then shaped into portions with a hollow center and filled with a cream made from mayonnaise, egg, garlic and fresh herbs before baking until golden.

Ingredientes
  

  • 3 slices sandwich bread
  • milk for moistening the bread
  • 600 g ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 grated onion
  • 2 eggs for the beef
  • fresh parsley and green onion to taste
  • 150 g mayonnaise
  • 1 egg for the cream
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • optional grated cheese
  • optional bacon

Modo de preparo
 

  • Add milk to the bread slices and turn them quickly so they moisten without becoming too soft.
  • Place the ground beef in a large bowl.
  • Add the moistened bread, salt, pepper, grated onion and eggs.
  • Mix very well until the bread disappears into the beef and the mixture becomes firm.
  • Divide the beef into 4 equal portions.
  • Shape each portion into a ball and place on a baking pan.
  • Using a glass, make a cavity in the center of each portion without pressing too deeply.
  • In a bowl, add the fresh herbs, mayonnaise, egg and crushed garlic.
  • Mix well until a creamy paste forms.
  • If desired, add finely grated cheese to the cream or save the cheese to place on top.
  • Spoon plenty of cream into the cavity of each beef portion.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until the beef is fully cooked and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Notas

Moisten the bread quickly in milk so it blends into the beef without making the mixture too soft. Mix well until the bread disappears into the meat, helping it become firm. When making the cavity with the glass, do not press too deeply so the base does not break. The filling can include finely grated cheese, bacon or other ingredients you have at home. Bake until the meat is fully cooked and golden.
