These banana and Maria biscuit sweets are a simple, nostalgic, no-cook dessert inspired by easy treats that are popular at parties and gatherings. The recipe uses well-mashed banana and crushed Maria biscuits, forming a moldable dough that can be rolled into small balls.   • 3 pieces ripe bananas
  • 300 g Maria biscuits
  • butter for greasing the hands
  • chocolate sprinkles to taste
  • cocoa powder or chocolate shavings to taste
  • shredded coconut to taste
  • crushed roasted peanuts to taste

Modo de preparo
 

  • Place the bananas in a bowl and mash very well with a fork.
  • Set the mashed bananas aside while preparing the biscuits.
  • Break the Maria biscuits into pieces and place them in a mixer or food processor.
  • Crush very well until a fine biscuit crumb forms.
  • Transfer the crushed biscuits to a large bowl.
  • Add the mashed banana to the crushed biscuits.
  • Mix with a spatula and then with your hands, pressing well, until a moldable dough forms.
  • Grease your hands with a little butter.
  • Take small portions of the dough and shape into balls.
  • Coat some of the sweets in chocolate sprinkles.
  • Coat other portions in chocolate, shredded coconut or crushed peanuts, according to preference.
  • Shape again to make the sweets nicely round.
  • Place the sweets on a serving plate and serve right away.

Notas

Mash the bananas well so they mix more easily with the crushed biscuits. If the dough is too moist, add a little more crushed biscuit; if it is too dry, mash in a few more pieces of banana. Lightly greasing your hands with butter makes shaping easier and prevents sticking. Shape the sweets in the size you prefer and coat them right after rolling so the toppings stick better.
