Ingredientes
  

  • 1 kg ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • fresh herbs (cilantro and green onions) to taste
  • 1 unit onion, grated
  • oil for frying
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • 1 unit onion, cut into large pieces
  • 1 unit tomato, cut into large pieces
  • 1 unit green bell pepper, cut into large pieces
  • 1 unit red onion, cut into large pieces

Modo de preparo
 

  • In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, paprika, garlic powder, crushed garlic, fresh herbs, and grated onion.
  • Mix everything well with your hands until the seasonings are evenly incorporated.
  • Shape the mixture into small meatballs of your preferred size.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and add the meatballs. Fry until they are golden on one side.
  • Turn the meatballs and fry until golden on the other side.
  • Remove the meatballs from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add a drizzle of olive oil and the onion, tomato, green bell pepper, and red onion.
  • Sauté the vegetables until they become soft and slightly golden.
  • Add the meatballs back into the pan with the vegetables and mix gently.
  • Serve hot for lunch or dinner.

Notas

You can adjust the spices according to your taste. Serve the meatballs hot with the sautéed vegetables. This recipe also pairs well with rice or a fresh salad.
