These noodles with beef in soy sauce are a complete, practical and very flavorful meal for lunch or dinner. The cubed beef is fried and seasoned with salt, paprika, black pepper and garlic, then returned to the pan with onion, bell pepper, tomato, fresh herbs and a thick sauce made with water, soy sauce and cornstarch. The cooked noodles are mixed with the sauce and beef, becoming well seasoned, juicy and delicious.

Ingredientes
  

  • 500 g beef cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 3 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • 200 ml water
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • fresh parsley and green onion to taste
  • 150 g cooked noodles
  • oil for frying the beef

Modo de preparo
 

  • Place the cubed beef in a pan or skillet and fry until some of the liquid has dried.
  • Season the beef with salt, paprika, black pepper and finely chopped garlic.
  • Mix well and fry a little longer, without drying out the beef.
  • Turn off the heat, remove the beef from the pan and reserve in a bowl.
  • In a small container, mix the water, soy sauce and cornstarch until well dissolved.
  • In the same pan, turn the heat on and add the chopped onion, red bell pepper, tomato and fresh herbs.
  • Sauté well until the ingredients are soft and aromatic.
  • Return the beef to the pan and mix with the sautéed seasonings.
  • Add the prepared soy sauce and cornstarch mixture.
  • Let the beef cook in the sauce for a few minutes, stirring until slightly thickened.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the pan.
  • Mix very well to coat the noodles with the beef, sauce and seasonings.
  • Turn off the heat, transfer to a plate and serve immediately.

Notas

There is no need to over-fry the beef; just brown it and let some of the liquid dry so the cubes stay tender. Dissolve the cornstarch well in the water and soy sauce before adding it to the pan to avoid lumps. The sauce thickens quickly, so stir well after adding it to the beef. Use any pasta you have at home, such as spaghetti, penne or fusilli. Serve right after mixing so the noodles stay well coated with the sauce.
