Modo de preparo
In a pot add the broccoli, carrot and salt. Cover with hot water and cook for about 5 minutes.
Drain the vegetables and set them aside.
In a skillet cook the cubed chicken until it begins to brown.
Season the chicken with salt, black pepper and oregano and mix well.
Add the minced garlic and sliced onion and sauté until golden.
Add the cooked broccoli and carrot and mix well.
Dissolve the cornstarch in a little water until smooth.
Add the dissolved cornstarch and soy sauce to the pan and mix well.
Turn the heat back on and cook until the sauce slightly thickens.
Turn off the heat, transfer to a serving bowl and serve hot.
Notas
Serve with steamed white rice or fried rice for a complete meal. If you prefer a thicker sauce, add a little more cornstarch dissolved in water.
