Pasta with Sausage and Creamy Sauce

This pasta with sausage is a creative, tasty and different recipe where spaghetti strands are threaded through sausage pieces before cooking. After boiling, they are lightly fried in butter and coated with a creamy sauce made from garlic, red onion, tomato, chicken broth, bay leaves, oregano and seasonings blended until thick.

Ingredientes
  

  • 2 cloves whole garlic
  • 1 chopped red onion
  • 1 tomato cut into small pieces
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • oregano to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 leaves bay leaves
  • sausages to taste
  • spaghetti enough to thread through the sausages
  • boiling water for cooking
  • salt for the cooking water
  • butter for frying
  • grated Parmesan cheese to taste

Modo de preparo
 

  • In a pan or skillet, add the whole garlic cloves, chopped red onion and tomato cut into small pieces.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, oregano, chicken broth and bay leaves.
  • Sauté everything well, mix, cover and cook for about 5 minutes until the liquid reduces.
  • When the liquid has dried and the ingredients are well sautéed, turn off the heat and set aside.
  • Cut the ends off the sausages, then cut them into medium pieces.
  • Take about five spaghetti strands and thread them through a sausage piece. Repeat from the other side if desired, then carefully break the pasta in half.
  • Repeat with the remaining sausages and pasta, forming small bundles.
  • Place the bundles in boiling salted water and cook for about 12 minutes.
  • Carefully drain the pasta with sausage.
  • In a skillet, melt a little butter and add the cooked pasta with sausage.
  • Lightly fry, stirring carefully so the bundles do not break.
  • Remove the bay leaves from the reserved sauté, if desired, and blend the mixture until it forms a creamy paste.
  • Pour the creamy sauce over the pasta with sausage in the skillet.
  • Cover the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens well.
  • Turn off the heat, finish with grated Parmesan cheese on top and serve immediately.

Notas

Thread the spaghetti through the sausage pieces carefully so the strands do not break too much. Use enough boiling water so the pasta bundles cook without sticking. The sauce mixture should be well sautéed before blending, as this makes the flavor deeper. Finish with grated Parmesan for extra taste and texture.
