This microwave pepperoni pizza is a quick, practical and delicious recipe for when you crave pizza. The dough is made with egg, salt, olive oil, milk and wheat flour, mixed quickly and partially cooked in the microwave. Then it is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices and oregano, and returned to the microwave until soft, fluffy and full of flavor.

  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • tomato sauce to taste
  • mozzarella cheese to taste
  • pepperoni slices to taste
  • oregano to taste

Modo de preparo
 

  • In a bowl, add the egg and a pinch of salt.
  • Add the olive oil and milk.
  • Mix quickly with a whisk until the ingredients are combined.
  • Add the wheat flour and mix again until a smooth dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough to a microwave-safe plate and spread it without making it too thin.
  • Microwave at 50% power for 3 minutes to partially cook the dough.
  • Remove from the microwave and poke a few holes in the dough with a fork.
  • Spread tomato sauce over the dough.
  • Add mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Arrange the pepperoni slices and cover with more mozzarella cheese.
  • Finish with oregano to taste.
  • Microwave again for another 3 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the dough finishes cooking.
  • Cut into slices and serve while hot.

Notas

Use a microwave-safe plate and spread the dough without making it too thin, so it stays soft. Poking holes with a fork helps the sauce settle better and prevents the dough from puffing too much. Using 50% power helps it cook more evenly. You can replace the pepperoni with shredded chicken, ham, vegetables or any topping you prefer.
