
Breaded Baked Ham and Cheese Sandwich
A delicious breaded ham and cheese sandwich baked in the oven without oil. Crispy on the outside and filled with melted cheese on the inside, perfect for a quick snack.

Ingredients
- 6 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed
- 6 slices cheese
- 6 slices ham
- 3 units eggs
- 1 cup crushed snack chips (corn chips or similar)
Instructions
- Flatten each slice of sandwich bread using a rolling pin.
- Remove the crusts and cut the bread into a neat shape.
- Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheese on each piece of bread.
- Cover with another piece of bread and press lightly to seal.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs well.
- Crush the snack chips with your hands until they form small crumbs.
- Dip each sandwich into the beaten eggs.
- Cover the sandwich with the crushed snack crumbs, pressing gently so they stick.
- Place on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve hot with the cheese melted inside.
Notes
You can replace the crushed snack chips with panko breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes for a different crispy texture. Great for lunchboxes or afternoon snacks.
