
Fluffy Baked Omelet with Mozzarella
This fluffy baked omelet with mozzarella is a practical, quick and budget-friendly recipe to make when you are in a hurry. The eggs are beaten with milk, salt, black pepper, grated mozzarella cheese, nutmeg and chives, creating a simple and flavorful mixture. Ingredients
- 9 pieces eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 200 ml milk
- 150 g grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- chives to taste
- butter for greasing the pan
Instructions
- Crack the eggs into a large bowl.
- Beat the eggs with a whisk until very smooth.
- If you do not have a whisk, mix well with a fork.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Add the milk and mix quickly to incorporate.
- Add the grated mozzarella cheese and mix again.
- Add the nutmeg and chives to taste.
- Mix very well until all ingredients are evenly distributed in the omelet.
- Grease a baking pan with butter, spreading it well over the bottom and sides.
- Pour the egg mixture into the greased pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until the omelet is set and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, cut into pieces and serve while still hot.

Beat the eggs well to make the omelet smoother and fluffier. If you do not have a whisk, a fork also works well. Grease the pan very well with butter, including the sides, to keep the omelet from sticking. Use the nutmeg in a small amount to add aroma without overpowering the flavor. Serve right after it comes out of the oven, while the texture is still soft and the cheese is melted.
