
Flour-Coated Steak with Milk
This flour-coated steak with milk is a simple, different and very flavorful recipe for lunch or dinner. The steaks are coated in wheat flour, browned in butter with olive oil and then cooked in milk with salt, black pepper and oregano. Once the milk dries, the meat fries again and becomes golden, tender, juicy and full of flavor, finished with fresh herbs to taste.

Ingredients
- 3 pieces large steaks
- wheat flour for coating
- butter for frying
- olive oil for frying
- 1 glass milk
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- oregano to taste
- fresh herbs to taste for finishing
Instructions
- Coat the large steaks in wheat flour, covering both sides.
- Shake off the excess flour to leave a thin layer on the steaks.
- Heat a skillet with a little butter and olive oil.
- Place the coated steaks in the hot skillet.
- Fry until golden on one side.
- Turn the steaks and brown the other side for a few more minutes.
- Add the milk over the browned steaks.
- Season with salt, black pepper and oregano to taste.
- Cover the skillet and let the steaks cook in the milk for a few minutes.
- When the milk dries completely, let the steaks fry again in the skillet.
- Turn the steaks once more and let them brown until they reach the desired point.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and place them on a plate.
- Finish with fresh herbs to taste and serve hot.

Notes
Use medium-thick steaks so they cook well in the milk and stay tender. Shake off the excess flour before adding them to the skillet to prevent burning. Let the steaks brown on both sides before adding the milk. When the milk dries, keep the heat moderate so the meat fries again without drying out. Fresh herbs are optional, but they add aroma and freshness to the dish.
