
Creamy International Chicken with Rice and Cheese
This international chicken is a creamy, complete and very flavorful recipe, perfect for lunch or dinner. The chicken breast is seasoned with lemon, salt, black pepper and paprika, fried until golden and mixed into a cream made with butter, garlic, onion, flour, milk, cream cheese, mozzarella, peas, ham, cooked rice and fresh herbs, then finished in the oven with melted cheese.

Ingredients
- 450 g chicken breast cut into pieces
- 1/2 squeezed lemon
- 1 teaspoon salt for seasoning the chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- oil for frying the chicken
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 350 ml milk
- nutmeg to taste
- salt to taste for the cream
- 1 tub cream cheese
- 100 g grated mozzarella cheese for the cream
- 100 g peas
- 150 g chopped ham
- 2 cups cooked rice
- fresh parsley and green onion to taste
- mozzarella cheese for browning
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into pieces and place in a bowl.
- Season with the juice of half a lemon, salt, black pepper and paprika.
- Mix well so all chicken pieces are coated with the seasoning.
- Heat a skillet with a little oil and fry the chicken until well browned.
- Remove the browned chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt.
- Add the chopped garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until soft and fragrant.
- Add the flour and stir until it forms a paste.
- Add the milk gradually, stirring constantly until thickened into a cream.
- Season with nutmeg, a pinch of salt and add the cream cheese.
- Mix well until the cream cheese is fully incorporated into the cream.
- Add the grated mozzarella, peas, chopped ham and cooked rice.
- Mix everything very well and finish with fresh parsley and green onion to taste.
- Add half of the fried chicken to the creamy mixture and stir.
- Transfer to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Arrange the remaining chicken on top and cover with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake only until the cheese melts and browns.
- Remove from the oven and serve while hot.

Notes
Use already cooked rice to make the recipe faster and more practical. When adding flour to the butter, stir well to form a smooth paste before adding the milk. Add the milk gradually and stir constantly to get a smooth cream. The oven is used only for browning, so remove it as soon as the cheese is melted and golden.
