Budget Bread Pudding with 3 Ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 1 liter milk
  • 4 stale French bread rolls
  • 400 g sugar
  • 1 cup sugar for caramel
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, blend half of the milk, half of the bread, and half of the sugar.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend again until smooth.
  • Pour into a greased baking dish with butter and sugar.
  • Bake at 220°C (428°F) for 35–40 minutes.
  • Melt sugar in a pan until it forms caramel.
  • Add water gradually until a smooth syrup forms.
  • Pierce the pudding and pour the caramel over it.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Piercing the pudding after baking helps the caramel soak in better. Grease the pan with butter and sugar for a light caramelized base.
