Ingredients
  

  • water
  • 1 dessert spoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the brine by mixing water, salt, sugar, and garlic.
  • Add the chicken, cover, and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken and dry it thoroughly with paper towels.
  • Mix the flour, cornstarch, and seasonings.
  • Separate part of the flour mixture. To the other part, add eggs and milk to create a batter.
  • Bread the chicken by dipping it in the batter and then coating it in the dry flour.
  • Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
